Christians Against Poverty
Are you weighed down by debt? Leading debt counselling charity Christians Against Poverty (CAP) has been running since 1996, and we partnered with them to set up the New Malden & Kingston CAP Debt Centre, through which CAP's free debt counselling service is now available across a wide area.
The centre is led by Gayle Hanslik and it covers an area a little larger than the Royal Borough of Kingston-upon-Thames.
If you are finding your debts difficult to manage, call CAP on Freephone 0800 328 0006. They will have a confidential chat with you on the phone and can arrange for someone from the New Malden & Kingston CAP Debt Centre to meet you in the privacy of your own home. Alternatively, you can click the Debt Help button to see what's available
The CAP head office will work with your creditors to stop them contacting you, taking the pressure off, and they will work out a budget with you which may be challenging but will be achievable. Life gets better as you no longer get letters demanding payment, you pay into your bank account to pay your creditors off and you can start seeing a future free from debt.
We also run The CAP Money Course, please click the piggy bank on the right for local courses. Virtual CAP Money Courses are currently being offered online.
A virtual Money Course is coming up in the next few weeks - contact Phil Hutchinson
